i just do not see the appeal in izzy getting with lucius, and it sucks that it’s starting to be a more popular ship than lucius/pete. literally there’s nothing there but sexual chemistry. they wouldn’t be a healthy couple.
thanks to prev tags bc i just realized the thing that probably upsets me most about the entire izzy/lucius fiasco.
black pete is one of those characters that’d just get sidelined immediately, you know. he’s not conventionally attractive, he has a cleft lip, he has a lisp, he could very easily be used as a simple comedy relief character. except he isn’t. he’s a well-thought-out character with an incredible story arc and is one part of the three main romances on the show. imagine the kind of representation that this gives!!! imagine how much good it must do for people at home that identify with someone like him!!!! and now he just gets sidelined for a most-likely-to-be-toxic ship. like????? what the actual fuck.

I’m going to get a little unhinged. Maybe even a little deranged. Vicious even. My uni ID card that lets me into buildings isn’t working even though I got the letter stating that I should be allowed back into buildings as of yesterday. Like babe this isn’t a good time to be wonky. I have classes tomorrow :/
